Assistant Football Coach - Linebackers

Randon Recker joined the Illinois Wesleyan football staff as the Titans' outside linebackers coach in the fall of 2021.

Prior to Illinois Wesleyan, he coached at University High School in Normal, for four years as an assistant coach and two years as the defensive coordinator and strength coach.

In 2020, Recker was on the staff of the C.I. Royals indoor football team as the special teams coordinator and linebackers coach. The Royals finished with the number one defense in their league and a championship title.

In 2018, Recker was the receiver coach for the Bloomington Edge indoor arena football team who finished undefeated in the regular season.

A native of Dunlap, Ill., Recker graduated from Illinois State University in 2019 with a bachelor's degree in education and has been a special education teacher at Fairview Elementary School (Normal, Ill) since 2019.
