Mike Yarosz joined the Illinois Wesleyan football staff prior to the 2022 season as a graduate assistant coach. He servedĀ as the wide receivers coach on Norm Eash's staff for two seasons and will enter the 2024 season as the program's passing game coordinator.

Yarosz got his coaching start at his alma mater, William Paterson University in Wayne, N.J. There, he served as an assistant coach working with the quarterbacks, wide receivers, defensive line, and special teams throughout his tenure. In two years with the Pioneers, Yarosz developed freshman quarterback Spencer Lee into an All-NJAC Honorable Mention selection, and mentored wideout Matt Clarke to First Team All-NJAC status.

Outside of his role at WPU, YaroszĀ served as a personal quarterback/wide receiver coach and worked countless camps.

On the field, Yarosz was a four-year member of the William Paterson football team. A member of the Pioneers' Leadership Council, he played quarterback for three years and spent one season as a wide receiver.

Yarosz graduated from WPU in 2020 with a degree in exercise science. He is currently persuing his master's degree at Illinois State University.
