Jermaine Burket

Jermaine Burket was named an assistant coach for the Titans in the spring of 2023. Burket, who works with IWU's defensive backs, completed his second season on staff in 2024, and coached Artist Benjamin to Second Team All-College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin honors in 2023 and 2024.

Burket came to IWU after most recently serving as the defensive backs and strength and conditioning coach at Otterbein University. After beginning his tenure as a graduate assistant, he was promoted to a full-time position in 2021.

During his time at Otterbein, Burket coached three all-conference selections, two in 2021 and one in 2020. Burket worked with OU's defensive backs, while developing and implementing the team's strength and conditioning programming and serving in an academic support role.

A four-year letterwinner at Heidelberg University as a defensive back, Burket graduated from HU as a double major in business administration with a marketing concentration and sports management with a business concentration in 2019. After his playing days came to an end, Burket received his master of business administration from Otterbein in 2021 while being a graduate assistant.
