Illinois Wesleyan

Chris Richardson joined the Illinois Wesleyan football staff prior to the 2021 season. He enters his second season as a graduate assistant on Norm Eash's staff, where he works primarily with the defensive backs.

Richardson was a standout defensive back at Urbana University from 2015 to 2018.  He was selected as Second Team All-Mountain East Conference as a safety during his time at UU. Richardson was named to the Commissioner's Honor Roll in 2019.

A native of Middletown, Ohio, Richardson earned his bachelor's degree in sports management from Urbana in 2019. He is currently persuing his master's degree at Illinois State University.
