In 2015, Adam Ries is in his first season as an assistant football coach at Illinois Wesleyan University, working with wide receivers.
A native of Hastings, Minn., he has a degree in broadcast journalism from the University of Wisconsin-River Falls. At UWRF, he started coaching tight ends as a student assistant in his senior year and remained on the staff to coach wide receivers for four seasons after graduation.
Three of the wide receivers he coached (Nate Brandt, John Wahlstrom, Jordan Christianson) earned Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference all-league honors.
