Tim Siegworth

  • Title
    Assistant Baseball Coach
Long-time Titan pitching coach Tim Siegworth was a successful hurler for the Illinois Wesleyan baseball teams of the mid-1970s.

In his career (1974 to 1977), the lefthander had a 16-3 overall record and a career earned run average of 2.85 in 142 innings. That ERA still ranks No. 5 among Titan career records.

Siegworth also played in the summers of 1975 and 1976 with the Bloomington Bobcats of the Central Illinois Collegiate League (CICL) and in the summers of 2002 and 2003, Siegworth managed the Twin City Stars, an entry in the CICL. Six players during those two seasons were selected in the Major League draft and a player on the 2002 Stars was Ben Zobrist, the 2016 World Series "MVP" with the Chicago Cubs.

Siegworth retired in 2016 after a lengthy career with the Normal (Ill.) Parks and Recreation Department.

Tim and his wife, Mary Horgan-Siegworth, are the parents of a daughter (Sarah Elizabeth) and have a granddaughter (Brinley Loren).
