Responsibilities
The sports information director (SID) is responsible for the following:
* Statistical compilation and dissemination.
* Handling of all printed matter including media guides, game-day programs and game notes.
* Managing the IWU athletics website.
* College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin and NCAA Division III reporting.
* Fulfilling requests of local, regional and national media.
* Compile and distribute releases both to the local media and hometowns of appropriate athletes.
* Maintain school records and archives.
* Coordinate radio and TV broadcasts of all home athletic events, as well as serve as host for visiting radio.

Working media who wish to interview an Illinois Wesleyan student-athlete, coach, or administrator should contact Katie Gonzales (kgonzal1@iwu.edu or 309-556-3640) to make arrangements. Game credentials and practice schedules may also be available through the Sports Information Office.
Internet, Phone Access
Wireless Internet access is available inside the Shirk Center while Internet access is available (via cable connection) at the IWU football stadium, Inspiration Field (softball)Â and Jack Horenberger Field (baseball).
Courtesy phone lines for visiting radio are available at the Shirk Center (volleyball and basketball), IWU football stadium, Inspiration Field (softball)Â and Jack Horenberger Field (baseball).

Current rosters in Word and StatCrew for Illinois Wesleyan teams are available on their respective roster pages. It is always prudent to check with the IWU sports information office prior to games to ensure accuracy.
