2010: Swam a leg in the 200 freestyle relay that placed 3rd and the 400 freestyle relay that placed 3rd at the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin Championships. He also set a school record in his 400 freestyle relay with a time of 3:10.73, and his 200 freestyle relay with a time of 1:26.66.
2009-10: Was named College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin "Men's Swimmer of the Week" on Nov. 3 for his performance in Wabash/Rose-Hulman triangular Oct. 31. He had an untapered best time of 23.24 in the 50 free, 0.4 faster than at this point in '08-09. Held also anchored the 200 free relay with a split of 22.17, 0.2 off lifetime best.
PERSONAL: Born December 9, 1988...Was all-conference in high school...Majoring in psychology (pre-med) at Illinois Wesleyan...Parents are Randy and Cheryl Held.
