NAPERVILLE, Ill. - For the third time this season, No. 20 Illinois Wesleyan University men's volleyball's duo of freshman Aydin Provost (Chicago, Ill.-Mount Carmel) and sophomore Ethan Kuziela (Chicago, Ill.-Marist) paired up to win College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin Players of the Week honors, announced by the organization Monday, March 23. Provost picks up his fourth hitter of the week honor of the season, while Kuziela notches his fifth setter of the week accolade.

Together, the pair raises IWU's weekly honor total to 10 on the season. Provost has previously garnered the award Jan. 19, Feb. 2, and Feb. 16, while Kuziela's past honors have come on Jan. 19, Feb. 9, Feb. 16, and March 2. Sophomore Ben Zima (Glen Ellyn, Ill.-Glenbard South) joins the duo, as he was named the CCIW Defensive Player of the Week March 9. Additionally, Kuziela ties the CCIW record for most setter of the week honors in a season, as his five matches the mark set by North Central's Tyler Donovan in 2024.

Provost led the IWU offense to a four-set win over St. Norbert College Friday, March 20. The match featured the Titans breaking the program's single-match block record, as they finished with 17 rejections. Provost recorded 17 kills, an average of 4.25 kills per set, doing so on a .429 clip. He also added eight blocks, an average of two per set, and a dig, for a total of 22 points.

Kuziela helped orchestrate the Green and White offense in the victory over SNC. The sophomore finished the contest with 18 kills, an average of 4.5 kills per set, on a .424 clip, as well as 27 assists, averaging 6.75 per set, to complete the double-double performance. The sophomore also added two blocks and a pair of digs to his stat line.

Illinois Wesleyan hosts No. 14 Loras College for a key CCIW clash Wednesday night, March 25. The top-20 battle will begin at 7 p.m. inside Shirk Center.
