Track and Field Preps for Outdoor Season

Titans begin campaign in Fort Worth, Texas

BLOOMINGTON, Ill. - The Illinois Wesleyan University men's and women's track and field teams are prepped for the 2026 outdoor season, beginning its campaign in Fort Worth, Texas at the TCU Alumni Invite Friday-Saturday, March 20-21. 

The Green and White are fresh off of a successful indoor track and field season, as the men's and women's programs each finished third at the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin Indoor Championships. IWU claimed 10 total league championships, including a sweep of the 4x400m relays at the conference indoor championships. 

Senior Adriana Crabtree (Normal, Ill.-University High) earned CCIW Track Athlete of the Meet after three event wins at the indoor championships, while freshman Gwendolyn Boettinger (Palos Park, Ill.-Stagg) claimed First Year CCIW Field Athlete of the Meet honors. 

Four Titans were named U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association Indoor All-Americans, announced Monday, March 16. Following top-eight finishes at the 2026 NCAA Division III Indoor Track & Field Championships, senior Evan Lowder (Bloomington, Ill.-Normal Community) and juniors Mackenzie Huber (Lombard, Ill.-Glenbard East) and Imani Ogunribido (Hanover Park, Ill.-Lake Park) earned first team status, while Crabtree garnered second team status.
