The Titans (8-2) enter the match off two sweeps at the Wabash Tri Saturday, Jan. 31. Kuziela is second on the squad with 81 kills, averaging 2.53 per set with an attack percentage north of .300. Williams rounds out the top-three with 67 kills, an average of 3.05 per set. Junior Brenden Reutter (Frankfort, Ill.-Lincoln-Way East) is second with 86 assists, an average of 4.10 per set. The duo have orchestrated the hot-hitting offense, and are the major contributors to IWU's average of 12.29 assists per set, the fourth-highest nationally. With 11 aces, Kuziela and Provost are tied for the team lead, while Williams and freshman Dylan Quinn (Downers Grove, Ill.-Downers Grove North) are tied for third with eight.

On the defensive side, sophomore Ben Zima (Glen Ellyn, Ill.-Glenbard South) leads IWU with 93 digs. His average of 2.91 digs per set ranks second in the CCIW and 20th nationally. Kuziela and Provost follow with 58 and 39 digs, respectively. Quinn's 26 blocks are the most by a Titan this season, as the freshman is averaging 0.87 rejections per set. Kuziela sits second with 18 stuffs, and Provost closely follows with 17 on the year.

IWU will match up against Dominican (4-1) for the fourth time in program history, with DU holding a 3-1 edge. The Titans defeated the Stars a season ago, as the five-set win inside the Shirk Center Feb. 6, 2025, was a monumental one for the program. With Dominican coming into the match ranked 19th, the victory was the first time Illinois Wesleyan had defeated a nationally-ranked opponent in program history. Williams led the team with 20 kills on a .341 clip, while Reutter posted a team-best 25 assists. Reutter added a team-high 21 digs, and with 10 kills he completed the first triple-double in program history. Dominican comes into the contest off a four-set loss to No. 9 California Lutheran University Sunday, Feb. 1.
