Lahart Collects Men’s Golfer of the Week Award

Earns first weekly award of his career

BLOOMINGTON, Ill. - Illinois Wesleyan University senior men's golfer Myles Lahart (Park Ridge, Ill.-Maine South) was announced as the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin's Golfer of the Week on Wednesday, Sept. 17. It is the first weekly honor of his career.

Lahart finished second at the Carthage Firebird Fall Classic on Monday-Tuesday, Sept. 8-9 at Ives Grove Golf Links and Strawberry Creek Golf Club. After an opening round of four-under 68, which was a career best, Lahart shot a final round one-under 71 for a 36-hole total of 139. His solo second-place finish was a team-best and his 36-hole total was the best of his career. Additionally, Lahart was the CCIW's top finisher at the tournament.

The Titans get back on the course for the NCAA DIII Preview at Mission Inn Resort + Spa in Howey-in-the-Hills, Fla. on Sunday-Tuesday, Sept. 21-23.
