LEXINGTON, Ky. - For just the third time in program history, the Illinois Wesleyan University women's volleyball team is listed within the top-10 of the American Volleyball Coaches Association Coaches Poll, as the organization's newest rankings saw a shakeup across the board Tuesday, Sept. 16. The Titans, who are off to their best start in program laurels with a 7-0 record, checked in at No. 10, tying for the highest ranking in program history. It marks the first time IWU has been spotted in the top tier of the list since the 2018 final poll.

Illinois Wesleyan enjoyed a weekend off after sweeping DePauw University Wednesday night, Sept. 10, the Titans' sixth straight sweep. The win helped boost IWU up from its previous ranking of 14th.

A new No. 1 at the top, UW-Whitewater claimed the leading spot after Wittenberg snapped Juniata's 103-match win streak, dropping the Eagles to No. 4. La Verne comes in at No. 2, followed by UW-Oshkosh. East Texas Baptist is behind Juniata to round out the top-five.

The Green and White remains on the road, heading to Wheaton College for its College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin opener Wednesday, Sept. 17. Following the midweek match, the Titans will return home to host the IWU Tournament II Friday-Saturday, Sept. 19-20. The Titans welcome Wittenberg, Rose-Hulman, and Coe to the Shirk Center.
