BLOOMINGTON, Ill. - The Illinois Wesleyan University women's tennis team (2-1) hits the road for the first time this season against Augustana College (1-0) in a Collegiate Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin bout at Lincoln Park in Rock Island, Ill. on Saturday, Sept. 13. First serve is scheduled for 11 a.m.

In IWU's CCIW opener against North Central, Sept. 10, Freshman Elana Religioso (Mahomet, Ill. - Mahomet) rattled off the lone win for the Titans at the sixth-singles spot, a 7-5, 6-2 win over Alexa Zaskowski. 

The Titans have dropped 12 straight duels against the Vikings. Last September, Augustana won 7-0. IWU's lone victory came in one of the three doubles matches as then-sophomores Amber Ehrlich (Springfield, Ill.-Glenwood) and Olivia Bell (Bloomington, Ill.-Bloomington) won 6-4 at the top spot.

After finishing in a seventh place tie at the Warhawk invite, the Vikings' lone dual-match win was a 4-3 win over North Park, Sept. 6. 

IWU's match against Elmhurst, originally scheduled for Friday, Sept. 12 has been postponed. The makeup date for that match is to be determined.
