Baseball Changes Season-Opener Schedule

IWU now takes on Grinnell, first

BLOOMINGTON, Ill. - With cold temperatures on the horizon, the Illinois Wesleyan University baseball team has changed its opening weekend schedule, Feb. 21-24.

Due to the weather falling as low as six degrees, Friday and Saturday's games have been changed to a doubleheader Sunday, Feb. 23, and a single game Monday, Feb. 24. IWU will now take on Grinnell College in a neutral site doubleheader Sunday, Feb. 23 in Greenville, Ill. at 1 p.m. and 4 p.m.

The Titans will then turn around and play Greenville University at 2 p.m. Monday, Feb. 24. All three games will take place at Robert E. Smith Field.
