CCIW RELEASE
NAPERVILLE, Ill. - The College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin released its 2025 women's tennis all-conference teams, Monday, Oct. 27. For the third straight season, Illinois Wesleyan junior Amber Ehrlich (Springfield, Ill.-Glenwood) earned Second Team All-CCIW honors. She is the first Titan to achieve three consecutive all-conference accolades since 2014, when Andrea Kerwin booked her fourth All-CCIW distinction.
At the top singles spot, Ehrlich went 2-6 in CCIW singles action with wins over Anna Sophia Stone of Elmhurst University and Isabella Griffiths of Millikin University. In doubles action, she closed with a 5-2 clip alongside fellow junior Olivia Bell (Bloomington, Ill.-Bloomington). The tandem earned wins over Elmhurst, North Park, Augustana, Carthage, and Carroll.Â
Senior Marianna Arias (Bloomington, Ill.-Bloomington) was IWU's recipient of the CCIW Respect Award.
The Titans will have the winter off before focusing on the spring season, which they open Feb. 21 at Principia College. First serve from Elsah, Ill. is scheduled for 1 p.m.
