LIGONIER, Pa. - The fifth-ranked Illinois Wesleyan University men's golf team sits in fourth-place after 36-holes Monday, Oct. 13 at the Tartan Invitational. After steady scores of 299 and 298 in the first two rounds at the par-72, 7022-yard Laurel Valley Golf Club, the Green and White sits eight strokes back of the lead heading into the final round.

In a display of consistency from the Titans, senior Myles Lahart (Park Ridge, Ill.-Maine South) paced IWU, carding scores of five-over 77 in the first round and even-par 72 in the second round to claim a spot in the top-15. Sophomore Joey Sluzas (Lockport, Ill.-Lockport) and senior Juney Bai (Mokena, Ill.-Lincoln-Way Central) are each one stroke behind Lahart, sitting in a tie for 21st-place at six-over par through 36-holes.

On a crowded top of the leaderboard, No. 23 Rochester leads the tournament at 13-over (589) through 36-holes. First-ranked Emory and sixth-ranked Huntingdon are one and two strokes back of the Yellowjackets, respectively. No. 5 Illinois Wesleyan (21-over) sits fourth on the leaderboard, as Hampden-Sydney is not far behind in fifth-place (600). Huntingdon's Matthew Gover and Hampden-Sydney's Sean Acree share the individual lead at even-par, 144.

The Titans get back on the course for the final 18-holes tomorrow, Tuesday, Oct. 13. Live scoring can be found on Clippd and accessed here.
