Game time set for 7 p.m.

BLOOMINGTON, Ill. – The Illinois Wesleyan University men's lacrosse team sets its sights on North Central College for another round of College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin action Wednesday, April 10, at Benedetti-Wehrli Stadium in Naperville, Ill.

IWU is coming off a 23-3 win in its conference opener against Augustana College Saturday, April 6, where 14 different Titans racked up goals against the Vikings. Seniors Ike Eastburn (Colorado Springs, Colo.-Cheyenne Mountain), Gage Black (Peoria, Ill.-Dunlap), and sophomore Andrew Ortega (Austin, Texas-Westlake) shared the team lead in points with four apiece.

The Green and White's 44.30 ground balls per game ranks second in Division III, while the Titan's scoring offense ranks seventh (16.80) and their 26.60 points per game is good for eighth in the country. Eastburn ranks fifth in the nation for shot percentage with a .545 clip.

IWU brings a 7-3 (1-0 CCIW) record into Wednesday's matchup, while North Central carries an 8-1 record into its first CCIW contest. IWU and NCC have met six times since their inaugural meeting in 2018, with the Titans being undefeated in the series. The most recent meeting saw a nail-biting, 15-14 double-overtime win for the Green and White on the road. Black and then-junior Trystan Seeley (Castle Rock, Colo.-Castle Rock) played crucial roles in the win, totaling four and three goals, respectively. Seeley, who ranks third on the team this season in goals (20) and points (29), notched the tying and the game-winning man-up goal a season ago to maintain the Titans' undefeated slate over North Central.

Illinois Wesleyan will face North Central on the road for the second straight year Wednesday, April 10, in Naperville, Ill. Game time is set for 7 p.m. inside Benedetti-Wehrli Stadium.  The contest will be available via live stats and live stream.
