Healy Hauls in CCIW Golfer of the Week Honors

NAPERVILLE, Ill. - A medalist finish at the Illinois College Invitational landed Illinois Wesleyan University sophomore Aidan Healy (New Lenox, Ill.-Lincoln-Way West) College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin Golfer of the Week honors Wednesday, April 17. It is the first weekly league award of Healy's career, while it is the seventh by the Titans this season.

Healy won the IC Invitational with rounds of 69 and 72 to finish three-under par. He posted a career-low three-under on day one, before going even on day two to lead the Titan 'B' team to the title. In addition to bettering his single round low by two strokes, Healy carded the best 36-hole score of his collegiate career at 141. It marked a five-stroke improvement from his previous career-best set at last year's Blueboy Invite and tied at the Midwest Region Classic this past fall.

Overall, IWU has seen six weekly awards come its way this season as Griffin Pohl, Quinn Clifford, Raj Sethi, Jackson Hulsey, and Bobby Beaubien have all received the recognition.

Illinois Wesleyan looks ahead to its final tournament of the regular season as the Titans travel to Decatur, Ill. for the Take Back the Night Challenge Friday-Saturday, April 19-20.
