BLOOMINGTON, Ill. – A week removed from their 17-15 win over Colorado College to cap off its spring break trip, the Illinois Wesleyan University men's lacrosse team heads to Albion, Michigan for a nonconference matchup with Albion College Saturday, March 23. Match time is set for 12 p.m. ET at Albion's Alumni Field.

IWU returns to the midwest after defeating Colorado College, 17-15, on the Tiger's home turf, March 16. The Titans were led by senior Gage Black (Peoria, Ill.-Dunlap) who notched a career-high 10 points off of seven goals and three assists in the victory. Finding his niche for the Green and White, freshman attack Timothy McHugh (Orland Park, Ill.-Mount Carmel) also had a career day with eight points, going for four goals and four assists. Defensively, junior Nick Horrocks (Boulder, Colo.-Fairview) led the team with four caused turnovers and four ground balls while junior goalkeeper Colin Tervo (West Linn, Ore.-West Linn) moved to 3-3 on the season as he compiled 12 stops in the win over the Tigers.

Despite IWU and Albion being the top two teams in the Region V rankings to end the 2023 season, Saturday's match will mark the first time these two teams will meet on the field. The Titans enter the contest with a 3-3 record on the season while the Britons are 1-7.  Both teams are coming off a week-long break following IWU's win over Colorado College and Albion's narrow 13-11 loss to Oberlin College, March 16.

Saturday's match at Alumni Field in Albion, Mich. is set for a 12 p.m. ET start against the Britons. The contest will be available via live stats and live stream. Live stats can be found here while the live stream can be accessed here.
