Women’s Tennis Drops to Carroll

Titans host Monmouth Tuesday, Oct. 8

WAUKESHA, Wis. - The Illinois Wesleyan University women's tennis team fell to College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin foe Carroll University on the road Sunday, Oct. 6. With the loss, IWU dips to 5-4 overall, 2-4 in CCIW action, while CU moves to a 4-5 overall record, 3-4 in league play. 

Sophomore Olivia Bell (Bloomington, Ill-Bloomington) notched a victory at No. 4 singles by scores of 7-6, 6-2 for IWU's lone win of the match. Bell, who also won her singles match at Carthage yesterday, is now 2-0 at the No. 4 position.

The Titans are back home Tuesday, Oct. 8 as the Green and White takes a break from league action for a bout with Monmouth College. First serve is slated for 4 p.m.
