Women’s Tennis Stumbles at Carthage

Takes a 6-1 loss

KENOSHA, Wis. - The Illinois Wesleyan University women's tennis team fell to College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin foe Carthage College Saturday, Oct. 5. With the loss, IWU dips to 5-3 overall, 2-3 in CCIW action, while CC moves to a 4-3 overall record, 4-3 in league play. 

Doubles partners sophomores Amber Ehrlich (Springfield, Ill.-Glenwood) and Olivia Bell (Bloomington, Ill.-Bloomington) picked up a win (6-0) at No. 1 doubles, while Bell also notched a victory at No. 4 singles by scores of 6-2, 6-2.

Illinois Wesleyan remains in Wisconsin, as the Green and White take on Carroll University Sunday, Oct. 6, with a 10 a.m. start.
