DECATUR, Ill. - Down 3-0 entering singles play, the Illinois Wesleyan University women's tennis team saw its comeback thwarted by Millikin University Tuesday, Sept. 19, falling 6-3. The match drops IWU to 2-3 overall, 0-3 in College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin action. 

Freshman Amber Ehrlich (Springfield, Ill.-Glenwood) opened individual action, taking No. 1 6-3, 7-6 (7). Freshman Olivia Bell (Bloomington, Ill.-Bloomington) took the win at No. 3 singles, going up 2-0 before a withdrawal. Sophomore Andie Wilson (Champaign, Ill.-Centennial) closed out the contest with a win at No. 6 singles, taking both sets, 6-3.

Illinois Wesleyan (2-3, 0-3 CCIW) returns to action at North Park Friday, Sept. 19, with the first serve scheduled for 4 p.m.
