Women’s Tennis Falls at Augustana

Titans return to action at Millikin Tuesday, Sept. 16

STERLING, Ill. - The Illinois Wesleyan University women's tennis team fell, 8-1, at Augustana College Saturday, Sept. 16. The Titans fall to 2-2 overall, 0-2 in College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin action, while Augustana improves to 2-0 overall, 2-0 in the CCIW.

The sophomore duo of Kate Christian (Washington, Ill.-Washington Community) and Raji More (Bloomington, Ill.-Normal Community) got the win for IWU at No. 2 doubles, taking the match 8-3.

The Titans travel to Millikin for a CCIW contest Tuesday, Sept. 19. First serve is scheduled for 4 p.m. at the Fairview Park Tennis Complex. Results will be posted on iwusports.com upon the completion of the match.
