BLOOMINGTON, Ill. - The Illinois Wesleyan University women's tennis team fell to reigning College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin Champion North Central College, 9-0, in IWU's CCIW opener Wednesday, Sept. 13. The Titans drop to 2-1 (0-1 CCIW), while the Cardinals improve to 7-0 overall, and 3-0 in CCIW play.

In the doubles portion of the match, sophomores Kate Christian (Washington, Ill.-Washington Community) and Raji More (Bloomington, Ill.-Normal Community) jumped out to a 3-0 advantage at No. 2, but the Cardinals fought back, taking the match, 8-3. 

The Titans begin a five-match road trip Saturday, Sept. 16, as the Green and White travel to Rock Island, Ill. to take on Augustana College. First serve is scheduled for 10:30 a.m.
