Men’s Volleyball Returns Home for Match Against North Park

Titans will play inside the Shirk Center for first time in 18 days

BLOOMINGTON, Ill. - For the first time in 18 days, the Illinois Wesleyan University men's volleyball team will play inside the Shirk Center. The Titans will host North Park University for a College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin midweek match Wednesday, March 29, entering the match barring a 9-13 overall record, 0-7 in CCIW play.  

Illinois Wesleyan enters the match off a three-set loss to No. 6 Carthage College Saturday, March 25. Sophomore Ryan Myers (Hawthorn Woods, Ill.-Stevenson) recorded a team-best five kills, while juniors Michael Eastman (Chicago, Ill.-Saint Ignatius) and Javier Romano (Prospect Heights, Ill.-Wheeling) finished with three kills each. 

North Park most recently swept Augustana College Saturday, March 25. The win improved the Vikings to 12-11 overall, 2-4 in the CCIW. The meeting will be the eighth all-time matchup, with North Park having won every battle prior. The Titans most recently met NPU March 8, 2023, falling in straight sets.
