BLOOMINGTON, Ill. - The Illinois Wesleyan University women's tennis team will host Alverno College in its final home match of the 2022-23 season Sunday, March 26. The match will take place at Evergreen Racquet Club with a time yet to be determined.

IWU (0-13, 0-8 CCIW) looks to get in the win column after substantial improvement seen on its spring break trip. In the four matches, the Titans won seven sets, including four against Franciscan University of Steubenville Friday, March 17. The Titans saw freshman Raji More (Bloomington, Ill.-Normal Community) and senior Ice Nie (Shenzhen, China-Shenzhen High School of Science) pick up their first collegiate individual win of the season over the trip in Orlando, Fla.

More paired up with fellow freshmen Kate Christian (Washington, Ill.-Washington Community) at No. 1 doubles, as the young duo secured two victories, including the first paired win of their careers, against Emerson College and Franciscan.

Alverno enters the match also seeking its first win of the season, as the Inferno hold a 0-11 overall record, 0-8 in Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference play. This will mark the first meeting between the two programs.

Results will be posted on iwusports.com following the completion of the match.
