BLOOMINGTON, Ill. - Coming off a 4-0 weekend at home, the Illinois Wesleyan University men's volleyball team will stay inside Shirk Center for a non-conference match against Dominican University Wednesday night, Feb. 15, at 7 p.m.

The Titans (8-5) enter the match riding a four-game win streak, with the most recent victory taking place Feb. 11. IWU took down Edgewood College for the second time this season to finish a perfect weekend at home in the IWU Invitational and tie its program-record win total from a season ago.

Junior Michael Eastman (Chicago, Ill.-Saint Ignatius) recorded 44 kills, nine aces, 23 digs, and three blocks, in 12 sets played during the tournament. Sophomore Vince DiCosola (Aurora, Ill.-Oswego East) also had a strong weekend of play, as he finished with 77 assists, 28 digs, and five aces in 13 sets. The Aurora, Ill. native notched his first double-double performance of the season against Edgewood, as he finished with 24 assists and 15 digs.

Dominican (0-3), a team that has seen great success at the national level and made the Elite Eight last season, enters off a loss to Fontbonne University. The Stars fell in straight sets to the Griffins Friday, Feb. 3.

The match will feature a battle between the Kougan brothers, as IWU sophomore Jake Kougan (Frankfort, Ill.-Lincoln-Way East) will see his twin, Jason Kougan, suiting up for Dominican.

This will be the second meeting between the two teams, who faced one another March 9, 2022 in River Forest, Ill. Dominican swept the Titans 25-17, 25-19, 25-15. Eastman led the Green and White with eight kills, while then-freshman Luke Hartke (Barrington, Ill.-Barrington) recorded a team-high six digs.
