BLOOMINGTON, Ill. - The Illinois Wesleyan University's women's tennis team dropped its home match against Millikin University, 9-0, in College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin action Wednesday afternoon, Sept. 28.

Illinois Wesleyan (0-5, 0-4 CCIW) could not fend off the Big Blue (6-1, 3-1 CCIW) in the long run, but did find a way to steal two games. Playing at No. 1 doubles, the freshmen duo of Raji More (Bloomington, Ill.-Normal Community) and Kate Christian (Washington, Ill.-Washington Community) took a game from Millikin's Emily Markus and D Galvan, but eventually fell 8-1.

Sophomore Andie Wilson (Champaign, Ill.-Centennial) was the only Titan to snag a singles game, as she took one from Cristina Borunda at No. 4 singles before falling 6-0, 6-1.

The Titans return to action Oct. 7 in a trip to Waukesha, Wis. to battle Carroll University. First serve is scheduled for 3 p.m. at the Jean Kilgour-Trailblazer Tennis Complex. Results will be posted on iwusports.com upon the completion of the match.
