BLOOMINGTON, Ill. - The Illinois Wesleyan University men's lacrosse team hits the road for a game against Carthage College Saturday, April 9. The Titans are scheduled to play in Kenosha, Wis. inside Art Keller Field for a 12 p.m. start.

IWU (6-4, 2-0 CCIW) travel north after facing College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin foe North Central College, April 6 at Tucci Stadium. The Green and White continued its perfect league record with a 16-13 win, over the Cardinals. Carthage (8-3, 1-0 CCIW) returns to the field after its first league win of the season, April 2 as the Firebirds defeated Augustana College 15-10.

The Titans and Firebirds have played a total of 10 times dating back to the inaugural 2014 season. The two teams all-time series is split 5-5, with the Titans on a five-game winning streak starting in 2017. In the 2016 CCIW Championship game, IWU's first-ever appearance, the Green and White were tasked to play the Firebirds where they came up short by a score of 10-9.

However, after falling during regular season play in 2017, 13-11, the Titans earned a spot back into the CCIW Tournament Championships to face non-other than 2016 defending champions Carthage College once more. Not only did the Titans get its first win over Carthage, the Titans secured its first-ever CCIW Tournament title and have not looked back since, winning each championship game since then.

The game will be available via livestream and livestats. The livestream can be accessed here and live stats can be found here
