BLOOMINGTON, Ill. - The Illinois Wesleyan University men's volleyball team will look to end its second season on a high note Saturday, April 2, as the Titans play host to North Park University inside the Shirk Center. First serve is set for 7 p.m. and will see the Green and White enter with an 8-14 record (3-8 CCIW). Meanwhile, the Vikings own a 14-12 record and 5-6 CCIW mark and wrapped up the final spot in the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin Tournament with a win over Augustana earlier this week.

This Saturday, several Illinois Wesleyan athletic teams will come together to raise money for St. Jude. As part of the day, t-shirts will be sold for $15 at the men's and women's lacrosse games, softball games, baseball games, and men's volleyball game. Additionally, each game will host a 50/50 raffle, with proceeds from both the raffle and t-shirt sales going to St. Jude.

The Titans and Vikings have squared off a total of five previous times. NPU enjoys a 5-0 series advantage as these two teams last met earlier this year in Chicago, March 9, that saw the Vikings claim a key CCIW victory in straight sets.

IWU last took to the hardwood, taking a break from conference action, by traveling to River Forest, Ill. for a contest against No. 2 Dominican University, Tuesday, March 29. The Stars utilized an impressive .507 cumulative hitting percentage to earn the three-set victory.

Meanwhile, NPU took on Augustana in its most recent match. North Park secured the fourth and final CCIW playoff spot by sweeping Augie, Wednesday, March 30.

As the season comes to a close, sophomore Michael Eastman (Chicago, Ill.-Saint Ignatius) has paced the Green and White offense from wire-to-wire, notching a total of 226 kills with one match remaining. Eastman also tops the team with his 34 aces from the service line.

Sophomore Bradley Benson (Lemont, Ill.-Lemont Township) and freshman Vince DiCosola (Aurora, Ill.-Oswego East) have totaled 581 assists on the year with Benson accumulating 307 and DiCosola earning 274 assists.

Sophomore KJ Johnson (Saint John, Ind.-Marian Catholic) leads the defensive category with 127 digs.
