BLOOMINGTON, Ill. - The Illinois Wesleyan University men's lacrosse team heads to Grove City, Pa. for its last of three stops on its east coast trip Saturday, March 19. The Titans (3-3) will play Grove City College (3-4) at 2 p.m. ET marking the first time these two teams will face off.

IWU is still receiving votes in both the United States Lacrosse Coaches Association poll and in the Nike/USA Division III Top-20 list and awaits to play GC on Saturday. Grove City is scheduled to play Marymount University Friday, March 18 before returning home to welcome the Titans Saturday, March 19.

IWU last played at Catholic University Wednesday, March 16 where they fell, 24-13. The Titans kept it close for most of the game, going back-and-forth in opportunities, but a 12 goal run in the fourth quarter allowed the Cardinals to leave with the win.

Senior Rick Smith (Frankfort, Ill.-Lincoln Way East) has consistently led the Titan offense. In the game against Catholic, Smith scored a hat trick and has now recorded a total of 147 goals, three shy from 150 for his career. Sophomore Gage Black (Peoria, Ill.-Dunlap) has also been an offensive threat for the Titans. The Peoria, Ill. native has scored 10 goals this season through six games and sits second on the team in goals.

The game will be available via livestats here and a livestream can be accessed here.
