BLOOMINGTON, Ill. - The No. 11 Illinois Wesleyan University men's lacrosse team gets ready for a pair of midweek matchups Wednesday-Thursday, March 2-3. IWU will trek to Hope College for a 4:30 p.m. ET start in Michigan Wednesday, March 2, before taking on the University of Dubuque inside Tucci Stadium Thursday, March 3 at 4 p.m.

In week four of the Nike/USA Division III Men's Lacrosse Top-20 Poll, the Titans dropped down a spot from 10 to 11, announced Monday, Feb. 28. IWU is also still receiving votes for the fourth straight week in the United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association Division III Coaches Poll.

After a week and a half off, the Green and White return to the field after its opening weekend in Memphis, Tenn. Feb. 12-13. The Titans faced then No. 7 Colorado College and Rhodes College and traveled back to Bloomington with two wins.

The Titans (2-0) will see Hope (1-0) once again after welcoming the Flying Dutch to Tucci stadium for the opening round of the NCAA Tournament last season, May. 14-15. IWU defeated Northwestern University in the first game to advance the Titans to the second round of the tournament. The Titans made history after defeating Hope in the second round, advancing the Green and White to the Elite Eight for the first time in program history.

Hope welcomes the Titans after facing College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin foe Elmhurst University, Feb. 26. The Flying Dutch defeated the Bluejays 17-13 in its season opener. The Green and White have the upperhand in the all-time series, 5-0, and Wednesday's game will mark just the second time IWU travels to Holland, Mich. to face HC.

A former CCIW opponent, Dubuque (0-2) travels to Bloomington with an overall record of 0-2. The Spartans faced Carthage College and Aurora University where they dropped both matches 10-4 and 15-3, respectively.

The Titans and Spartans have faced off a total of seven times dating back to the inaugural 2014 season for the Green and White. In the all-time series the Titans hold a commanding 7-0 advantage and have kept DU under double-digits each time they have played.

Most recently the Green and White traveled to Iowa last season as the Titans left with a 26-6 win over the Spartans, April 17.
