BLOOMINGTON, Ill. - In the team's final fall season dual match, the Illinois Wesleyan University women's tennis team fell to North Park University, 9-0, Sunday, Oct. 16. The Titans conclude the fall portion of the 2022-23 season 0-9 overall, 0-8 in College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin play. North Park finished their fall season with a record of 6-5, 3-5 CCIW. 

Freshmen Kate Christian (Washington, Ill.-Washington Community) and Raji More (Bloomington, Ill.-Normal Community) paired up at No. 1 doubles to take on Hanna Zethraus and Marie Fuehrer from North Park. The freshmen battled hard, but fell 8-3 to the Vikings duo. 

More continued to challenge Fuehrer, as they faced off at No. 2 singles. The Bloomington, Ill. native lost 6-2, 6-3. 

The Titans will take the court in 2023 for the spring portion of their schedule, which includes the CCIW tournament set to take place April 20-22, 2023.
