Men’s Soccer Head into CCIW Play Against North Park

Titans scheduled to kickoff at 7:30 p.m.

BLOOMINGTON, Ill. - The Illinois Wesleyan University men's soccer team competes in its first College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin game of the season in Chicago against North Park University Saturday, Sept. 25. The game is scheduled to start at 7:30 p.m.

IWU returns to the pitch shortly after its game against Knox College, where the Titans were topped 2-0 Tuesday, Sept. 21. North Park welcomes the Titans with an overall record of 5-3, as Saturday's match will also be the Vikings first CCIW game of the season. The Vikings are coming off a midweek matchup where they fell to Hope College 2-1 Wednesday, Sept. 22.

The Titans and North Park last played during a scrimmage in the spring. The last countable game between the two teams was during the 2019 CCIW Championship game. IWU was on a six-game winning streak before falling 2-1 in the championship game, to finish their season 9-8-2.
