BLOOMINGTON, Ill. - The Illinois Wesleyan University women's tennis team travels to the campus of Greenville University for two matches against Principia College and Greenville Saturday, Sept. 18 at 11 a.m. and 2 p.m., respectively.
The Titans are 0-3 overall, credited to last weekend's doubleheader at Augustana College as the Green and White took on the Vikings along with Grinnell College Saturday, Sept. 11. In addition to a dual against the 2020-21 College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin defending champions, North Central College Wednesday, Sept. 8.
IWU holds an overall record of 2-3 against Principia. The latest matchup was during the 2016 season and resulted in a 7-2 loss for the Green and White.
In the second bout of the day, IWU will see Greenville for the second time in program history. The first encounter was in the 2020-21 season during a dual April 17, 2021 as the Panthers took the all-time series lead 1-0. The Green and White look to even the score after a 6-3 loss last season.
