BLOOMINGTON, Ill. - The Illinois Wesleyan University men's lacrosse team competes for the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin Tournament Championship against No. 2 seed North Central College inside Tucci Stadium Saturday, May 8 at 1 p.m. The Titans advanced to the finals after a 23-7 blowout win over No. 4 seed Elmhurst University Wednesday, May 5 while NCC beat out Carthage College 16-9 in its semifinals bout.

IWU will enter its fifth CCIW Tournament Championship game on Saturday with three CCIW titles under its belt, while Cardinals enter Tucci for its first-ever championship game. The Titans (12-1) are ranked first regionally as the Cardinals (12-1) are ranked fourth, a first in NCC program history.

IWU has only played the Cardinals a total of three times since 2018. The Titans and Cardinals faced off earlier this season, where the Green and White went on to win 21-12. Sophomore Connor Kiichle (Vancouver, Wash.-Skyview) led IWU with a career-high five goals during the Titan's fourth quarter push.
