BLOOMINGTON, Ill. - The Illinois Wesleyan University men's lacrosse team enters postseason play as the No.1 seed and will face No.4 seed Elmhurst University in the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin Tournament semifinals inside Tucci Stadium Wednesday night, May 5. The game is scheduled for a 7:30 p.m. start.

IWU has earned a spot in six straight CCIW Tournaments, winning a total of three CCIW Championship Tournament titles and have made three NCAA Division III Tournament appearances.

The Titans sit at 11-1, including their third straight perfect 6-0 CCIW record. Elmhurst will travel to Tucci with a 10-5 overall record and broke even at 3-3 in the conference after a 14-13 loss against North Central. Earlier in the season the Titans defeated the Bluejays 25-16 on April 24 to continue its now eight-game winning streak in the two teams all-time series, which IWU leads 8-1.

The last time the Titans and Bluejays faced off in postseason play was during the 2019 CCIW Tournament Championship game, where the Titans went on to claim their third straight league title after a 25-18 victory over Elmhurst.
