Titans finish the season with 15-2 record

SALISBURY, Md. - The Illinois Wesleyan University men's lacrosse team's historic season came to an end in the Elite Eight of the NCAA Division III Men's Lacrosse Tournament with a 30-5 loss to No. 2 Salisbury University Saturday afternoon, May 22, at Sea Gull Stadium. Illinois Wesleyan finishes the season with a 15-2 overall record.

The Titans goals were spread evenly among seniors Nick Ceko (Barrington, Ill.-Barrington) and Tanner Nelson (Hatfield, Pa.-North Penn), junior Rick Smith (Frankfort, Ill.-Lincoln-Way East), sophomore Jaxon Hendrickson (British Columbia, Canada-Westtown), and freshman Trystan Seeley (Castle Rock, Colo.-Castle View) who scored one apiece. Nelson's goal, the 46th of his career, came on a slick pass from Ceko with just a few seconds remaining.

Senior Max Bousky (Peoria, Ill.-Peoria Notre Dame) picked up a team-high eight ground balls and went 12-for-32 at the X. Senior Will Harris (Bloomington, Minn.-Holy Angels) notched four ground balls, while making 13 saves in between the posts.
