DECATUR, Ill. - The Illinois Wesleyan University men's soccer team took its first loss of the season in a 1-0 defeat at Millikin University Wednesday, April 7. The Titans move to 2-1 while the Big Blue advance to 2-0 on the season.
IWU outshot the Big Blue 3-2 in the first half, but after 22 minutes of play the Green and White trailed 1-0 off a shot from MU. Despite outshooting Millikin 6-4, the Titans were kept scoreless after 90 minutes of play.
Illinois Wesleyan has back-to-back away exhibition matches against North Central College Saturday, April 11 and Augustana College Wednesday, April 14, before looking for revenge against Millikin Friday, April 16 at 7 p.m.
