Split Weekend Ahead for Women’s Tennis

Titans Play Greenville and North Park

GREENVILLE/BLOOMINGTON, Ill. - The Illinois Wesleyan University women's tennis team will take on Greenville University in non-conference action before traveling home for a College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin match with North Park University Saturday-Sunday, April 17-18. The Titans will see the Panthers at 12:30 p.m. and the Vikings in Bloomington, Ill. for a 1 p.m. match start. 

IWU and the Panthers will play for the first time on Saturday. The Titans are 1-8 and 0-6 CCIW while Greenville holds a 6-2 overall record. 

The Titans and the Vikings have played each other a total of six times since 2014. IWU holds a 5-1 advantage over NPU and has won the last four matchups. Most recently, the Titans beat North Park 6-3 on Viking territory September 7, 2019. Junior Alessia Girardin (Chicago, Ill.-Regina Dominican) represented the Green and White with a win at No. 2 singles and at No. 2 doubles.
