Men's Volleyball Opens Four-Match Roadtrip at Loras

DUBUQUE, Iowa - A four-match roadtrip begins with a trek to Iowa for the Illinois Wesleyan University men's volleyball team Saturday, March 6, where the Titans will take on Loras College. First serve is scheduled for 12 p.m.

IWU (1-8) is coming off a three-set loss to fourth-ranked Carthage, March 3. Illinois Wesleyan's full-freshmen roster hung tough with the Firebirds, dropping the match 25-14, 25-19, and 26-24. Loras is even at 3-3 on the year, including a 2-2 College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin mark. The Duhawks most recently fell 3-1 at Augustana.

Michael Eastman (Chicago, Ill.-Saint Ignatius) leads the Titans with 91 kills, 3.14 per set, and aces (12). KJ Johnson's (Saint John, Ind.-Marian Catholic) 55 digs are a team-best, while he also has 59 kills and 13 blocks to his credit. Alec Mucha (Geneva, Ill.-Geneva) is one of four Titans with double-digit blocks, having recorded a team-best 18.
