Titans Return to Action for Midweek Matchup with MSOE

First meeting since the Titans' inaugural season opener in 2014

BLOOMINGTON, Ill. - The Illinois Wesleyan University men's lacrosse team hosts the Milwaukee School of Engineering in a non-conference bout Wednesday night, March 3. Game time is slated for 7 p.m. at Tucci Stadium.

Due to state and local restrictions, as well as campus visitor policies, no spectators will be permitted at any Illinois Wesleyan University sporting events at this time under the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin spectator policy. All CCIW members are fully focused on maintaining the health and safety of our student-athletes, coaches, staff and campus communities.

IWU and MSOE will square off for just the second time ever Wednesday night, with the first meeting have served as Illinois Wesleyan's first game in program history Feb. 22, 2014. The Titans topped Raiders 13-3 in the contest to pick up the first win in school history. Michael Julius scored three goals and added an assist, while Steven Laduzinsky finished with two saves and earned the win in goal.

Illinois Wesleyan enters the matchup with a 1-0 record on the season after downing DePauw 32-7, Feb. 27. MSOE is in search of its first win of the season following a tight 12-7 loss at Elmhurst, Feb. 27.

Juniors Griffin DeMilt (Toledo, Ohio-Ottawa Hills) and Rick Smith (Frankfort, Ill.-Lincoln-Way East) lead the Titans with five goals apiece. Junior Zac Taylor (Brighton, Mich.-Brighton) paces IWU with nine ground balls, while senior Max Bousky (Peoria, Ill.-Peoria Notre Dame) is off to a 16-for-19 start at the x. Sophomore Blake Muschewske (Exelsior, Minn.-Holy Family Catholic) has a team-high three caused turnovers and senior Will Harris (Bloomington, Minn.-Holy Angels) leads the way with seven saves.
