Men's Volleyball Closes Out Roadtrip with Rematch at NPU

BLOOMINGTON, Ill. - The Illinois Wesleyan University men's volleyball team closes out its four-match roadtrip tomorrow, March 17, with a conference clash with North Park University at NPU's Gymnasium. It will mark the fourth match between the Titans and Vikings this season.

Illinois Wesleyan is 2-10 on the year and 1-6 in the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin. North Park is 6-5 overall, 3-4 in league play and saw its five-match losing streak come to an end with a 3-0 sweep of Millikin, March 13.

The Titans are led by Michael Eastman (Chicago, Ill.-Saint Ignatius), who tops the team with 118 kills, 3.03 per set. He is also the team leader with 14 aces. KJ Johnson (Saint John, Ind.-Marian Catholic) is second on the team in both kills (82) and digs (63). Dominic Bennett (Lockport, Ill.-Plainfield Central) and Bradley Benson (Lemont, Ill.-Lemont) facilitate the attack. Bennett has a team-best 145 assists, while Benson adds 139.

Adam Blackmore (Geneva, Ill.-Geneva) has a team-high 70 digs on the season as IWU's starting libero, while Alec Mucha (Geneva, Ill.-Geneva) paces IWU with 23 blocks.
