BLOOMINGTON, Ill. - Coming off the first win in program history, the Illinois Wesleyan University men's volleyball team looks to carry that momentum into a midweek matchup with Fontbonne College Wednesday night, Feb. 25, inside the Shirk Center. First serve is set for 7 p.m.

Illinois Wesleyan moved to 1-5 in its inaugural season with a thrilling 3-2 win at Rockford, Feb. 22. Fontbonne is 9-1 on the year, including a win over IWU in the Titans' opener, Feb 3, and carry a four-match win streak into Wednesday's clash.

IWU enters the match following plenty of season-bests in its win at Rockford. The Titans posted a season-high attack percentage of .237, fueled by a season-best 57 kills. Illinois Wesleyan also turned in high marks in assists (53), aces (5), and blocks (9). Michael Eastman (Chicago, Ill.-Saint Ignatius), IWU's season kills leader, tallied a career-high 19 kills in the win, the second-most by a player in the CCIW this season.

Eastman's 66 kills top the team, followed by KJ Johnson (Saint John, Ind.-Marian Catholic) with 45. Johnson and Adam Blackmore (Geneva, Ill.-Geneva) share the team lead with 43 digs each. Bradley Benson (Lemont, Ill.-Lemont) has dished out a team-best 91 assists, with Dominic Bennett (Lockport, Ill.-Plainfield Central) adding 82. Alec Mucha (Geneva, Ill.-Geneva) and Julian Perez (Orland Park, Ill.-Carl Sandburg) are tied with a team-high 12 blocks each, while Ethan Scott (Wheaton, Ill.-Wheaton North) has tallied 11.
