BLOOMINGTON, Ill. - The Illinois Wesleyan University women's tennis team will host College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin teams Carthage College and Carroll University Saturday-Sunday, Oct. 9-10. Both matches are scheduled to start at 10 a.m. at Beadles-Morse Courts.
The Titans first welcome Carthage Saturday, Oct. 9. IWU sits at 2-6 (1-4 CCIW) as Carthage currently holds a 4-1 (4-1 CCIW) record. Before the Firebirds travel to Bloomington, Ill. for Saturday, they will make a stop in Decatur, Ill. Friday, Oct. 8 to face Millikin University.
IWU and Carroll will meet the following day Sunday, Oct. 10 for the sixth time dating back to the 2016 season. The Pioneers hold the advantage in the all-time series 4-1, with the latest match resulting in a 7-2 loss for the Green and White back on March 21, 2021. Similar to the Firebirds, Carroll who currently has a 4-4 (2-3 CCIW) record will face Millikin Saturday, Oct. 9 before playing the Titans on Sunday.
