HANOVER PARK, Ill. - The Illinois Wesleyan University women's tennis team's fall season ended at the hand of Millikin University in the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin Quarterfinals Thursday, Oct, 21. The Titans dropped to second-seeded Millikin 5-0 at Hanover Park.
IWU finished its fall season with a 3-9 overall record and after its last regular season win against North Park University Saturday, Oct 16 the Titans wrapped up conference play with a 2-6 record. With the win Millikin advanced to the semifinals tomorrow Friday, Oct. 22 and will face off against No. 3 Wheaton College.
Including the Titans, No. 8 North Park and No. 4 Carthage College saw their seasons were halted in the tournament. Advancing to the semifinals tomorrow are No. 1 North Central College, No. 2 Millikin, No. 3 Wheaton, and No. 5 Augustana College.
The Titans will return for its spring schedule next semester.
