CARMEL, Ind. – The Illinois Wesleyan University football team's season opener against Franklin College scheduled for Sept. 5 in Franklin, Ind. has been canceled, Franklin announced Friday, July 10. The Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference (HCAC), of which Franklin is a member, will not begin the 2020 football season prior to Sept. 12.
