Flower Edington as the Illinois Wesleyan women's soccer team won for the fifth straight time, taking a 1-0 decision at Rose-Hulman on Saturday, Sept. 22.
The Titans improved to 6-1-1 and the Fightin' Engineers slipped to 4-4.
Illinois Wesleyan had five shots on goal compared to four for Rose-Hulman, all saved by sophomore keeper
Kelli McCarthy, and the Titans outshot the Engineers, 10-6. Pettenuzzo's goal came in the ninth minute of the game (8:37).
