Titan Women's Soccer Wins Fifth Straight with 1-0 Victory at Rose-Hulman

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. -- Senior Rosie Pettenuzzo scored the game's only goal on an assist from junior Flower Edington as the Illinois Wesleyan women's soccer team won for the fifth straight time, taking a 1-0 decision at Rose-Hulman on Saturday, Sept. 22.

The Titans improved to 6-1-1 and the Fightin' Engineers slipped to 4-4.

Illinois Wesleyan had five shots on goal compared to four for Rose-Hulman, all saved by sophomore keeper Kelli McCarthy, and the Titans outshot the Engineers, 10-6. Pettenuzzo's goal came in the ninth minute of the game (8:37).

Illinois Wesleyan hosts DePauw at 5 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 26 at Neis Field.
