Jake Stewart drove home the game-winning run on a sacrifice fly to left in the eighth inning.

With a win the Titans improved to 16-10 overall and 7-5 in the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin (CCIW). Carroll fell to 13-13 overall with a 2-11 mark in CCIW action.

Freshman
Quinn Gudaitis (2-0) was the pitcher of record for Illinois Wesleyan pitching 4.0 innings of relief and striking out five. Gudaitis allowed just one hit and walked none. Freshman
Nick Watson came on in the second inning to relieve senior
Nick Brune, pitching 4.0 innings allowing three hits and one earned run (one unearned) while striking out three.

Max Maney was charged with the loss for Carroll after Logan Johnson allowed junior
Jacob Houghton to score on Stewart's sacrifice fly.
Sophomore
Nick Figus recorded a game-high two RBI after going 1-for-2 at the plate with two walks. Sophomore
Brandon Skopick, junior
John Bosco, and Stewart also recorded runs batter in for the Titans on Tuesday.
Carroll's offense was led by catcher Ethan Burns who finished 3-for-4 at the plate with a lone run batted in.

Illinois Wesleyan will make-up the final game of their season series against Millikin at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, April 18, following it's postponement on March 28. Millikin currently owns a season record of 14-12 with a 4-8 record in CCIW competition.
